Barbara grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she met her husband, John. They have two grown children and more importantly, two grandchildren, Reyna and Coltrane. She loves antiquing, spending time with her family, and gardening.

Throughout Barbara’s life women’s Bible study has been and continues to be a source of spiritual growth and friendship building. "I have dear friends from the first Bible study I attended in 1979. They are prayer warriors, and we have walked through life together with the Lord. But I also have dear friends that I have met since coming to Crossings (Belle Isle)."

Barbara has a passion for women’s Bible study—believing one generation can help the next to see what it looks like to follow Christ in every area of their lives. She believes strongly that if a woman falls in love with Jesus ~ a family will follow.
