Behavioral Health Symposium Series

The Behavioral Health Symposium, offered monthly in Crossings Pavilion, provides behavioral health professionals with continuing education and training. This program not only fulfills professional requirements pertaining to continuing education, but also brings awareness to the professional community regarding Crossings CareSeries programming.  Clients are often referred to the weekly support and recovery groups.

Speakers and topics chosen for the symposiums are based on participant recommendations.  Likewise, LifeCare also pulls from their pool of local professionals who are experts in their field.  Participants are encouraged to evaluate the symposiums and give feedback on ways to continually improve the series.

Behavioral health professionals includes licensed professional counselors, licensed marital and family therapists, licensed clinical social workers, psychologists, physicians, licensed alcohol and drug counselors, case managers, school counselors, and school administrators.
