Volunteer Opportunities

There are many opportunities to serve individuals within our church community. For more information, contact Pam at 302.1203.

Bereavement Ministry
Provide, serve, decorate, and/or deliver food for funeral dinners both within and outside the church.

Funeral Food Ministry
Provide food for funeral dinners.
(NOTE: Remember to pick up your dishes in room 234-235)

Flower Ministry
Arrange and distribute flowers to shut-ins and those experiencing difficulties.

Greeter Ministry
Greet people on Sunday mornings and during other special events.

Usher Ministry
Usher and assist individuals on Sunday mornings and during other special events.

His Hands Ministry
Individuals spend time providing service on various projects for individuals in need, including transportation, landscaping, home improvements, etc.

In Home Food Ministry
Deliver food to individuals who’ve recently come home from the hospital.

In Touch Ministry
Shut-in Crossings members are assigned a gender-specific volunteer to visit, call, or send cards on a weekly basis.

Mechanics in Action
Change oil, provide tune ups, and make car repair recommendations for Crossings’ single moms, widows, and military wives tri-monthly on Saturday mornings.

Prayer Ministry
Participate in a variety of prayer opportunities individually and in community with others on Saturday mornings, Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, and during special events. Read more ...
