Josh tells us that Pocahontas is in his family tree lineage, but even more impressive is that he’s performed at Carnegie Hall in NYC with his high school choir. More recently, Josh attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater where he served as the Overflow (a student-led, non-denominational worship ministry for college students) worship leader for three years. As the story goes, Senior Pastor Marty Grubbs attended Overflow one evening with his son, Tyler, and was very impressed with his musical talent. The rest is history. Three months later, Josh joined the full-time staff at Crossings as the Contemporary Worship Director for the gym services. |
