Parent Testimonials ...
"As we prepared to leave the parking lot after the class, my son seemed to have an urgency to make a conscious decision to pray and ask Jesus Christ to come into his heart as his Lord and Savior. Although he had done this at a much younger age, I could tell this time was different, and he really knew what he was doing, so I stopped the car and we prayed in the parking lot. The materials and information we heard in the parent class prepared me with conversation tools to lead my son to Christ at home."

"We were so excited when both of our oldest daughters expressed their desire to be baptized in front of our church family. They will never forget that day! Because of the Kid Faith class they attended prior to baptism, they both have a much deeper understanding of the meaning of baptism. The class emphasized the importance of the decision and gives them a firm foundation based on knowledge and faith. The take-home materials and the parent session at the end were also helpful for us to lead our children."

Love, God, & Sex

This study, offered to 5th & 6th graders each January, teaches about love and sexuality from a biblical perspective. Crossings Christian physicians, pastors, & volunteers discuss God's spiritual truths about sexuality, along with life skills to resist temptation until marriage.

Parent Testimonial ...
Dan and Paula Chavez have experience in having both a son and a daughter take the LGS class. Dan shares, “Love, God & Sex … the first two topics were easy to discuss with my son and daughter—as we had from an early age ... but sex? I knew how I wanted them to deal with that issue, but when, how, where, and what to say to them?” Dan and Paula are parents to Connor, 16; Carly, 14; and Coleman, 11. “This class broke the ice for us, to start talking about God’s and our expectation of how they would deal with this issue.”
