Teacher Feature
Steve Seatonwith Steve Seaton, Discovery Sunday School class teacher

How long have you taught Sunday School at Crossings?
I began teaching Sunday School in 1994 when I took over Jim O’ Connell’s class (then called “Seekers”).

What are the most rewarding things about teaching Sunday School?
I enjoy the relationships with class members. We really do life together in many ways. At this point in my life, I teach sometimes 12-14 times in the span of a week. I often say that teaching Sunday School is the “dessert.” There is something very refreshing about people coming expectantly to class, anxious to see each other and to open their Bibles. I look forward to it all week, especially when I have adequate time to prepare.

Where is your favorite place to eat?
I am a burger guy—Johnnies!

We appreciate Steve Seaton for his hard work and dedication in teaching Sunday School at Crossings for over 15 years. He is loved by many, which is evident by the over 200 people who attend his 8:30 a.m. class weekly. Thanks Steve, for all you do!
