Women’s Bible Studies and MOM's Group
Women’s Bible Studies and MOM's Group are a Crossings tradition enjoyed by women of every age and with varied backgrounds, but all with a desire to make new friends and learn about God. Whether it works best to come on Monday morning or Wednesday night, there's sure to be a study to interest you, so make Women’s Bible Studies a part of your schedule.

Monday Mornings—9:15 to 11 a.m.
Begin the day at 9:15 a.m. in the Atrium with a time of praise and worship together, followed by your choice of various studies in classrooms throughout the building. The studies conclude at 11 a.m. A light lunch is available in the Atrium until 1 p.m.— feed the kids and enjoy your new friends. Childcare is available for newborn through kindergarten.

Wednesday Nights6:30 to 7:45 p.m.
Wednesday night classes for women are part of the Growing U series. Usually, one women's study is offered each session. Make sure you and your family enjoy dinner in the Atrium from 4:45–6:15 p.m. Childcare and classes are available for all ages on Wednesday night.

Beth Moore’s newest study part of winter session

Beth MooreChristian author and speaker, Beth Moore, had no idea the impact her Breaking Free series would have on women when it was first released in 1999. Now, she has updated this popular video series and released, Breaking Free: The Journey, The Stories with re-edited Bible study content and testimonies of how women have found freedom and been delivered from their personal captivity. Based on Isaiah 61:1-4, Breaking Free is Beth’s life message that she shares using Scripture to help identify spiritual strongholds in our lives.

This new, updated Breaking Free study (book: $15) is part of the Wednesday night Growing U series (January 6 - March 10), in addition to one of two classes and MOM’s group offered as part of the Monday Morning Women’s Bible Studies (January 25 - April 19)

Monday morning classes are:
  • Beth MooreEphesians: Finding Your Identity in Christ
    led by Mary Louise Binning 
    This Christianity 101 Bible study, written by Bruce Bickel and Stan Jantz, of the book of Ephesians gets straight to the heart of Paul’s teaching on the believer’s identity in Christ: we belong to Christ; the Holy Spirit is our guarantee; we can share in God’s power. People who are new to the Bible will also find God’s secret plan for the Church. Bible study veterans will be stirred to “be strong with the Lord’s mighty power” today. The up-to-date language and interactive style of this book will help readers feel as if Ephesians was written just for them! (book: $5)
  • Beth MooreBeth Moore's Breaking Free (updated)
    —Video Series
    First released in 1999, Breaking Free changed women’s lives as they discovered freedom through the transforming power of Christ from the strongholds in their lives. Beth Moore has now updated this series with new video and workbook, so all women may again (or for the first time) experience this groundbreaking Bible study. (book: $15)
