Faithful, Abundant, True—
by Kay Arthur, Priscilla Shirer and Beth Moore
This seven-week study recorded at a Deeper Still conference features three outstanding authors and speakers who challenge women to be faithful, to trust God’s abundance, and to grow in discernment. It’s a video format with a workbook, homework and small group discussion. This class is also available on Wednesday nights, beginning August 25, if this time works better for your schedule (see below).
Cost of the workbook is $13.
Philippians—
led by Mary Louise Binning
Mary Louise always takes us deep inside the Bible. This time, she’ll cover Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi, which teaches how to share encouragement and joy in times of adversity. Paul’s personal experience with Christ and his struggles over living or facing death call out to us as believers to have the mind, knowledge and peace of Christ.
Cost of book is $5.
Apprentice—
led by Pastor Deidre Franklin
The spirit of Jesus Christ is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. If you are interested in developing this kind of character, Apprentice can help you experience true life-change. This course runs the length of three semesters and will be completed in December of 2011. (If interested, complete a short application.)
Books are available in the Crossings Bookstore for $20.
MOM's Group—
for young women with small children from infancy to early childhood
Mom’s Group meets in small groups with a “seasoned” woman who has raised a family and who serves as a facilitator. This Fall, moms will also enjoy the Bible study called The Frazzled Female by Cindi Wood. Time commitment for reading/homework is only about an hour per week. Mom’s Group is a great way to meet other mothers and join them in this journey of parenting.
Cost of the workbook is $10.
Preregistration for childcare (infant - kindergarten age) is required—register online by Thursday, September 9. Adult preregistration is not required.
