The Real Christmas Story
Thursday, December 4, 2008
6-8 p.m.
Star of Wonder, Star of Light
Follow the star to Bethlehem and witness the story of Jesus’ birth through the eyes of a child. Imagine your little ones’ excitement as they experience The Real Christmas Story with Mary and Joseph, shepherds, and angels gathered around a manger. Such is the scene as Crossings’ Gymnasium is transformed into Bethlehem on Thursday, December 4, from 6-8 p.m. with two live nativity performances at 6:15 and 7:15 p.m.

The Atrium is also transformed into cheerful holiday venues that welcome you to help your children decorate cookies, craft handmade keepsakes, create an ornament for the Nursery Christmas tree, and enjoy a relaxed time of fun and fellowship.
The evening is planned for the young child, toddlers through preschool age; older siblings are welcome to join you. Bring an unwrapped toy to be donated to the mission project.

Volunteers needed
Many volunteers are needed to make this an awesome evening for our families. Share the joy by greeting, helping at the holiday venues in the Atrium, or shepherding the animals in our live stable in Bethlehem. Sign up on your Friendship Card in the Sunday worship folder.
