For nearly 25 years Ron Mahn has focused his counseling on faith-based individual, marital, and family issues. After many years in private practice, Ron joined the pastoral staff of Crossings Community Church in May 2005, responsible for LifeCare Ministries, the church’s counseling and recovery offering. He holds graduate degrees in both Theology and Psychology. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marital and Family Therapist, and an ordained minister. Ron and his wife, Kim, have two adult children; a son and a daughter.

Teresa Peden was born and raised in Oklahoma. Teresa has been attending Crossings over 25 years and served on the Missions Committee and as a Stephen’s Minister. Professionally, she served as Executive Director of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) in Oklahoma. She worked at the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services for over 28 years. Teresa has a Masters in Marital and Family Therapy from SNU and a Masters in Public Health from the OU. She is married to Cliff Peden and has two grown children, Amber and Wade. She enjoys spending time with family, as well as water skiing, wakeboarding, and snow skiing.
Teresa is the liaison between LifeCare Ministries and the Crossings Community Center, where she coordinates behavioral health treatment. She is also the director of the Crossings Behavioral Health Symposium Series. When questioned about what she hopes to achieve in these new endeavors, Teresa shared, “I’m excited about the provision of behavioral health services for those in the community who can’t afford individual and family counseling, as well as the Christian-based educational opportunities for behavioral health professionals.”

Todd Poe is the director of CareSeries. Todd is excited about the chance to lead a program where the mission is to offer encouragement and direction through support and recovery groups. When asked what he hoped would be conveyed through his leadership of the program, he said, “That this is a safe place where people can be real about the challenges that life brings and can find hope for the journey.”

Shari Murphy is the director of LifeTools (formerly called Confident Kids). When Shari was asked about the name change and the direction of LifeTools, she replied, “The name change was to better describe what children take away from the program, and I would like to reach places in the community that come into contact with families in crisis. This is the only program locally that is spiritually-based and curriculum- driven.”
