Celebrate Recovery is coming to the Community CenterWe are excited to announce that Celebrate Recovery will begin at Crossings Community Center on Thursday, November 6.
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-Centered recovery program based on the 12 Steps and the eight principles from the Beatitudes. It’s an internationally recognized program to help individuals with their hurts, habits, and hang-ups. It can be summed up as “helping pain change through Jesus Christ in the ministry of the Holy Spirit.” CR provides an opportunity to deal with the challenges of both the past and present and is used to transform lives and help people grow towards full Christ-like maturity.
For more information or volunteer opportunities, contact Teresa at 642-3482. The VisionGod has been using our church to impact Oklahoma City for nearly 50 years. We’re reaching people where they are, serving the Lord together, helping meet some basic needs, and showing Jesus’ love in a real way. We’ve discovered thousands of men, women and children do not have adequate access to quality medical care. Many within our own congregation are uninsured or under-insured. The burden on area hospital emergency rooms is huge. We're helping to bridge the gap by providing free general family medical care to those in need and referrals to Crossings’ specialists who are able to handle more difficult situations in their own offices. The MinistryCrossings Community Clinic’s mission is to proclaim the message of Jesus Christ in our lives, to provide health and education services in the service of Jesus Christ to His people, and to respond to the call of Jesus to grow in faith and spirituality through serving Him. The Clinic serves adults who are uninsured or otherwise without access to primary care. The hours of service are determined by the availability of our volunteer medical professionals, but generally the clinic is open to patients on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday afternoon/evenings. Other days and times are offered as providers are available. All patient visits are scheduled by appointment. The ClubA Christian-based tutoring/mentoring program for middle school students from John Marshall starts Thursday afternoon, October 25, at the new Crossings Community Center (2208 W.
