CAPTURE THE VISION OF LIFE

Short-term missions offer an opportunity to surrender your agenda, your time and the chance to experience life. In John, Christ says “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” (John 10:10). But what does that mean? Can people living in poverty experience abundance? And then conversely thinking–if my bank account is full, then why do I feel so empty? Christ living in us gives us the opportunity to live an abundant life and understand the secret of Christ’s words, “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will find it” (Matthew 16:25).

Upcoming Mission Trips:

Honduras Mission Trip
From October 16-22, Crossings Community Church is sending a team of 31 volunteers to the village of Pena Blanca, Honduras. The mission team will work on three different projects: a medical clinic, Vacation Bible School, and construction. This trip is hosted by Heart to Honduras.

Believing that the prayer of the righteous is “powerful and effective” (James 5:16), we ask you to consider these requests as you pray for us:

Pray that God reveals Himself to the mission team members.
Pray for the village and the people of Pena Blanca—that their hearts are open to hear the Holy Spirit speak.
Pray for a spirit of unity and flexibility among the team.
Pray for ease in going through customs and that no items are confiscated.
Pray supplies are on-site.
Pray for good weather conditions to accomplish God’s purpose.
Pray for ease of communication in a culture where it’s easy to misunderstand and be misunderstood.

Short-Term Missions Trip Application

Before being selected to be a part of a Crossings Missions team, you must submit an application to the Missions office. Please choose from one of the two formats below.
