Crossings Community Center/Clinic The Club at Crossings Community Center
"...and if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the opressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday." |
Crossings Ministries Benevolence MinistryThe benevolence ministry assists members of Crossings Community Church who have been actively attending for at least 6 months, have attended the Pastor’s Class, and are active in regular Sunday morning attendance.Members who seek assistance are required to complete an application, attend a one-hour budget class, and meet with the Assistant Director of Missions before assistance can be distributed. Primarily, the benevolence funds are used for essential and critical needs such as utilities, food, gas or partial rent payment for those living a modest lifestyle.
Use it Again! Missions BinIn a secret corner of the church-the Fitness Center staircase-lies an unsuspecting ministry location. To the untrained eye, it may appear to be storage ... but in reality it represents the tools of undercover agents on a mission of mercy within our city.

Crossings Community ClinicThousands of men, women and children do not have adequate access to quality medical care. The burden on area hospital emergency rooms is huge. We help to bridge the gap by providing free general family medical care to those in need and referrals to Crossings’ specialists who are able to handle more difficult situations in their own offices. The clinic is open by appointment only call 405-749-0800 to schedule an appointment. The clinic is located at 2208 W. Hefner Road (old Wal-Mart building). More information
Sewing ClubIt was just a thought. Some might call it a dream. But thanks to coordinator Dee Orcutt and eight other women, it became a reality. After hearing an outreach talk in their Sunday School class, these ladies teamed up to form the SSS (or Sewing) Group. At a monthly meeting in Elaine Brown’s home, these women pray and encourage one another, while putting to practice their passion for sewing. They’ve made baby bibs, blankets, hats, booties, small quilts, and diaper bags to name a few projects. The Sewing Group plans to visit the Infant Crisis Center in May, where they’ll donate a year’s worth of prayer, love, and labor. The Sewing Group encourages you to clean out your closets and craft rooms. Donations of terry cloth, cotton blend fabrics, fleece, bias tape, and yarn are welcomed. Donations can be made to the Missions office. For more information, contact Missions at 405-302-1247.
