How do I demonstrate honor?

·         Love them.

·         Thank them.

·         Pray for them.

 

 

A morning thought…

We thank you, generous God, for some of the common things that make life worth living: for the memories we share with family members; for the love and direction we receive from our mothers; for the laughter we enjoy as friends; for the freedoms we enjoy as citizens of this land; for the caring we experience as members of this household of faith; for the acts of kindness we have received from total strangers; for the contributions we have been able to make to our lives; for the quiet and supportive presence of the Holy Spirit; and for the security we feel as children of God.

We thank you, generous God, for the provisions of life that bring us comfort and for the offering of Your Son, Jesus—that through His death we might live. For all things great and small, we offer You our praise, our worship, and our love.
